Phil Handy, the assistant coach for the LA Lakers, will be making his debut on Uplive, a global live streaming app, on December 21st.
Handy has an extensive career as a basketball player and as a coach. From 1995 to 1998, Handy was a basketball player for the Omaha Racers and the La Crosse Bobcats. During his career as a player, he obtained a CBA All-Rookie First Team and a British Basketball League Championship.
Since 2011, Handy has been a basketball assistant coach. He has helped coach NBA teams such as the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Toronto Raptors, and currently the Los Angeles Lakers. He has experienced success as an assistant coach with two of his teams earning the NBA championships in 2016 and 2019.
