Things to Check Before you Go Live
To have a smooth live stream, here is a checklist that you can follow before you start your broadcast:
1. Charge your device:
- Always charge your device BEFORE you start your live stream
-You don't want your live stream to cut off because you can miss out on potential follows and gifts!
2. Update Uplive to the latest version
- Make sure your Uplive app is updated to the latest version
- Failure to do so could lead to performance issues and glitches that can affect your broadcast.
3. Stable WI-FI
- Have a stable network. Internet connectivity issues can lead to buffering, delays, and more during your livestream.
- A fast and smooth network makes your livestreams easier to watch.
4. Good Quality Photo
-Having a good profile picture will attract more viewers.
-For a good profile picture, make sure it is high resolution and has good lighting. No blurry or gritty photos.
-Make sure your face is clearly shown. No text, images, masks etc. should cover your face.
5. Share on Social Media
-To increase your viewers, share your live stream on social media. Encourage your followers and friends to watch your livestreams!
6. Stay positive!
-Viewers are more likely to stay and interact if you stay positive! Have a conversation with your viewers, ask questions, etc.
